RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL LOBAK PUTIH (RHAPANUS SATIVUS L.) TERHADAP BEBERAPA DOSIS PEMUPUKAN NPK PADA WAKTU LAMBAT TANAM
White radish (Rhapanus sativus L.) is a horticultural crop that belongs to the tuber vegetable group and comes from the Raphanus or mustard family. Demand continues to increase every year causing this crop to be in great demand by farmers for cultivation. On the other hand, unused seeds are usually used as reserves for damaged or dead plants. Fertilizer application in cultivation activities is one of the efforts to meet the nutritional needs of plants. The seedlings used in this study were 35 days after sowing (HSS). This study aims to determine the effect of applying several doses of NPK fertilizer (16:16:16) on the growth and yield of white radish in slow planting conditions. The research was conducted in Jakabaring District (104°46'4“East, 3°01'3” LS), Palembang City, South Sumatra Province, from September to November 2024. This study used the Randomized Group Design (RAK) method with one factor, namely the dose of NPK fertilizer consisting of three treatments, namely the dose of NPK fertilizer 2.5 grams per plant (F1), the dose of NPK fertilizer 5 grams/plant (F2), and the dose of NPK fertilizer 7.5 grams per plant (F3). Each treatment was repeated three times, with each replicate consisting of three plants. Thus, the total number of plants observed was 27 plants. The data obtained were analyzed using the ANOVA method. The results showed that the application of NPK fertilizer at a dose of 2.5 g per plant gave the best results on the growth and yield of white radish plants. While the best harvest can be done at 9 weeks after planting (MST) with the highest fresh weight of tubers 157.98 grams per plant.
