Custody case of a elderly woman named Trimah at a nursery home located in Malang has become a spotlight and obtain pros and cons in society. There is some media that discussing and reporting this case one of them is Detik.com. The purpose of this research is to find out how online media especially Detik.com framing the news related to custody of Ms Trimah at nursery home case. Data is being collected by content analysis, researching related news articles with descriptive qualitative research method. This Research is using Framing Analysis Zhondang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki theory model with four analysis devices that is syntax, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The result of this research is showing that Detik.com in their news reporting tend to given information and discussed it from the side of Ms. Trimah as the side that got entrusted and Husnul Khatimah Home for the Eldery. There is some emphasis on specific word that being used and also the selection of source that doesn’t covers information from the two sides.
