Child abuse is a serious problem and must be resolved. Children are protected by law, namely UU No. 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to UU No. 23 of 2002. Non-Governmental Organizations as agents of child protection, one of which is carried out by the Child Protection Study Center or PKPA. This study aims to determine the Communication Strategy of the PKPA Foundation in promoting awareness and prevention of violence against children. In this study, a qualitative research approach was used with a descriptive method that used data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, literature studies and documentation. This study uses the Communication Strategy Theory by Onong Uchjana Effendy as an analytical tool for this research which consists of identifying communication targets, selecting communication media, assessing the purpose of communication messages and the role of communicators in communication. The results of this study indicate that the communication strategy carried out by the PKPA Foundation in promoting awareness and prevention of violence against children by using persuasive techniques and informative techniques in increasing awareness and encouraging the community to support PKPA Foundation programs. The PKPA Foundation stated that the use of social media in promoting awareness and preventing violence against children is effective, but the PKPA Foundation's social media insight is quite low so that improvisation is needed in the future.
