REALITAS SOSIAL DALAM NOVEL ANAK RANTAU KARYA AHMAD FUADI: KAJIAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
This research aims to describe the social reality in the novel “Anak Rantau” by Ahmad Fuadi and its implications for Indonesian language learning. The research uses George Ritzer's theory of social reality, namely objective social reality and subjective social reality. The aspects of social reality that were studied include cultural aspects, educational aspects, religious aspects, moral value aspects, and criminality aspects. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data for this research is in the form of narratives, dialogues, and quotes that depict social realities. The data source is the novel “Anak Rantau” by Ahmad Fuadi, third edition published in 2022, totaling 370 pages. Data collection used the read and note techniques. The data analysis technique consists of identifying, classifying, analyzing, interpreting implementation, and concluding. The number of data is 41, consisting 18 objective social realities, 23 subjective social realities, and there are forms of Minangkabau local wisdom. The results of the social realities research can be implemented in the Indonesian language learning for XII grade high school students under the Merdeka Curriculum. The implementation in learning can be carried out at the phase F learning achievement. Students are expected to understand and analyze social reality, which are one form of extrinsic elements in the novels. Discussion material can be an option for implementing research findings.
