PEMODELAN POLA REKAHAN DI SEKITAR MANIFESTASI PANAS BUMI DESA PENINDAIAN KECAMATAN SEMENDO DARAT LAUT KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM MENGGUNAKAN METODE SELF POTENTIAL DAN GEOKIMIA
The existence of geothermal manifestations in South Sumatra is quite a lot, but has not been maximally explored. One of them is a manifestation located in Penindaian Village, Semende Darat Laut District, Muara Enim Regency. The manifestation is in the form of hot springs, hot mud, and hot steam. This hot fluid can rise and appear to the surface due to rock fractures. These fractures act as pathways or conduits through which hot fluids can pass to the surface. The research aims to conduct modeling to study the fracture patterns that exist under the manifestations in Penindaian Village. The method used for data collection uses self-potential (SP) and Geochemical methods for fracture modeling using the Thin Plate Model Equation from Rao and Babu (1983), and Google Collab software. Track 1 shows that the fracture is at a depth of 46.99 meters, the fracture length is 1540.81 meters, and the inclination angle of the fracture from the surface is 43,68°, while track 2 shows that the fracture is at a depth of 21.99 meters, the fracture length is 42.54 meters and the inclination angle of the fracture from the surface is 30.45° towards the surface flowing from north to south. Based on geochemical method, it was found that the origin of the fluid came from the outflow zone, with a temperature obtained of 273.03°C.
