The research objective was to determine water reservoir development existing at Unit Usaha Cinta Manis in order to increase sugarcane plant production. Method used in this research was descriptive and data was presented in form of tables and graphs. The observed parameters in this research were areal layout, local climate, sugarcane plant and soil physical properties. Unit Usaha Cinta Manis currently had planting area of 10,716.2 ha from total land area of 18,882 ha which was distributed in six districts. This area had rainfall more than 1,000 mm/year, i.e. 1,207.08 mm/year. It is currently had 164 water reservoirs distributed at each district and total maximum volume of 2,289,198 m3. Water deficit is occurred in May to September, whereas water surplus is occurred in October to April. Irrigation water requirement during deficit months based on rainfall, evapotranspiration and irrigation efficiency were 984,924.02 m3, 1,478,446.87 m3, 2,522,559.36 m3, 12,361,308.49 m3 and 11.823.410,96 m3, whereas irrigation water requirement during surplus months 2,954,566.59 m3, 10,282,437.34 m3, 9,659,798.57 m3, 17,342,247.63 m3, 17,833,683.82 mJ, 13,336,314.27 m3 and 13,246,466.98 m3. Potential for water reservoir development in Unit Usaha Cinta Manis can be conducted by development of the existing water reservoirs and construction of new water reservoirs.
