SIMULASI PEMANFAATAN MINYAK GORENG SEBAGAI BAHAN BAKAR MENGGUNAKAN PROGRAM EES
The research objective was to design system simulation of palm oil heating compared by actual heating. This research can be result applied to substitute fuel into nabati fuel on agricultural sector. The research was done in December 2011 to June 2013 at Sriwijaya University by used Engineering Equation Solver simulation method programme and compared by actual heating that was reached 90°C. The result showed that temperature was reached for heating process based on simulation programme of Engineering Equation Solver was 90°C during 11 minutes. As the temperature comparasion that was reached in actual heating process was 90°C during 11 minutes for second point and 12 minutes for first point. Relation between temperature that was produced depend on process showed determination coeffisien (R2). Based on determination coeffisien (R2) of prediction temperature equation, temperature on first point and second point was obtained 0.9737; 0.9697; and 0.9741. Energy required during heating process was decreased with temperature produced. Energy required from lst minute was 351.4 W and 1 lst and 12 nd minutes was were 230.3 W and 221.1 W. I
