MODEL UNCERTAIN LOCATION SET COVERING PROBLEM PADA PEMETAAN LOKASI TEMPAT PENAMPUNGAN SEMENTARA SAMPAH DI KECAMATAN ILIR TIMUR I KOTA PALEMBANG
The waste problem in Palembang City is currently one of the important problems that need to be addressed. An effective and efficient waste management system needs to be carried out in order to reduce the accumulation of waste, such as providing infrastructure for Temporary Waste Disposal Sites (TWDS). This research aims to get the best location of TWDS sites in the Ilir Timur I Sub-District of Palembang City with the Covering Based Problem (CBP) model formulation which is part of the Set Covering Problem (SCP) which consists of the Location Set Covering Problem (LSCP), Maximal Covering Location Problem (MCLP), and p-Center Location Problem (p-CLP) model formulations, as well as the Uncertain Location Set Covering Problem (ULSCP), model formulation which is part of the Uncertain Set Covering Problem (USCP). The models were solved with LINGO 13. The results of the CBP model are then compared with the ULSCP model. The results of the CBP model show that each Village has at least one optimal TWDS, but in the p-CLP model there is a TWDS that does not match the demand point. While the results of the ULSCP model obtained 34 optimal TWDS. This study recommends the solution of the ULSCP model as the optimal location of TWDS in the Ilir Timur I Sub-District of Palembang City.
