RANCANG BANGUN ALAT UKUR STUNTING BERDASARKAN TINGGI DAN BERAT BADAN BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT)
The 2021 Indonesia Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) shows that the stunting rate in Indonesia remains high at 24.4 percent, significantly higher than the target set in the 2020–2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), which is 14 percent. The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is recorded at 30.8 percent, which, although showing a decrease, still reflects the need for further efforts to meet the established stunting reduction target. To support the monitoring of nutritional status, this device utilizes ESP32 microcontroller technology, equipped with an ultrasonic sensor to measure height and a load cell to measure weight. The measurement data is displayed directly on an LCD screen and sent to the Blynk application for real-time monitoring. The determination of stunting status is carried out by calculating the Z-Score based on WHO growth data, where children with a Z-Score below -3 are categorized as having severe stunting. The nutritional status evaluation is performed objectively using the standard deviation. The measurement results demonstrate good accuracy, with an average absolute error for weight of 0.4 kg (relative error 2.4%) and an average absolute error for height of 0.5 cm (relative error 0.5%), reflecting the effectiveness of the device in providing accurate data for assessing children's nutritional status.
