ANALISA DISTRIBUSI TEGANGAN, REGANGAN, DAN PERPINDAHAN CONTAINER CRANE DENGAN METODE ELEMEN HINGGA PADA PT. PELABUHAN INDONESIA II BOOM BARU PALEMBANG
Container crane is a hoisting machine that is used in the port area to remove the Container frorn ship to dock or otherwise. This thesis conduct the distribution of stress , strains . and displacements of Container cranes . This Assessment performed by SOLIDWORKS SIMULATIONsoftware-based finite element method. Modeling done by the assumption that the Container cranes is a n e w produet, material of Container crane are linear, homogeneous . and isotropic . The steps ofthis study consists of a preprocessor that modeling objects or tools that will be analyzed. the determination of the type of material , the selection of element types . meshing . boundary conditions , and load applications . Ih e n next t o processor where the numericalfinite element method is go on. and the last is the postprocessor, the residts and count displayed visually in the for m of stress contours , strains , and displacements . Based on the residts solidworks simulation stress distribution experienced by Container crane are Von Mises minimum value = 0.45014 N/m2 , and the maximum value of the von mises = 3.02899 x 106 N/m2. strain values obtained for the minimum value = l.l8856x 1013 Nm2 . and maximum = 1,09832x 105 N/m 2. minimum displacement value a t 0 mm . the maximum for = 2.72469 mm . The calculation of LOS . obtained analytically by 8.2367 and the output value of the numerical calculations yield ofLOS = 8,25. Container crane belong t o PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II still withstand a load of 8 times that of the maximum load that can be lifted.
