ANALISIS HASIL EKSTRAKSI NANOSILIKA BERBAHAN DASAR FLY ASH MENGGUNAKAN METODE PEMANASAN DENGAN VARIASI TEMPERATUR PENGERINGAN
Fly ash is waste from incineration in the form of ash. The silica contained in this ash is processed into nanosilica which is useful for increasing the compressive strength of concrete. In this study, the nanosilica was obtained by extracting fly ash using the heating method. The tests carried out in this study are X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The test results show that the higher the temperature, the lower the silica level will be, the higher the temperature, the size of the silica crystals will increase and then decrease as the temperature increases. The higher the temperature, the crystallinity will decrease and increase again as the temperature increases. Analysis of XRF test results shows that a temperature of 110°C will produce the highest silica content, which is 46.389 ± 0.297%. In XRD analysis, it is known that a temperature of 110°C will produce crystals with the smallest size, which is 77.81 nm. Then the lowest crystallinity is produced by a temperature of 115°C, which is 7.38%. It can be concluded that a temperature of 110°C is the optimal temperature to produce nanosilica.
