This research aims to determine the differences in framing regarding the framing analysis of foreign investment involvement in the development of the National Capital in the media Detik.com and Mediakaltim.com. The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach using social construction theory. The analysis technique used is the framing analysis model of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki with the objects studied being five news stories on Detik.com and five on Mediakaltim.com from May to September 2023. The results of the research show that there are differences in the news perspective. Detik.com in its reporting information was framed as foreign countries being interested in joining in investing in IKN development and focusing more on gains in efforts to find foreign investors. In contrast to Mediakaltim, news framing seems to focus more on searching and ways to attract investment from other parties. Apart from that. Detik.com uses more formal, detailed language and focuses on the core information it wants to convey. Meanwhile, Mediakaltim.com in conveying news uses a relaxed, varied, broad writing style but the information is still conveyed. In the Detik.com media, the framing of the news can be seen as if foreign countries are interested in joining in investing in IKN development and are more focused on profits in their efforts to find foreign investors. In contrast to Mediakaltim.com, news framing seems to place more emphasis on searching for and ways to attract investment from foreign parties. Keyworsd: Framing, foreign investment, Detik, Mediakaltim, Zhongdang Pan and M. Kosicki
