For Indonesia, palm oil refined into CPO, which is a non-oil and gas export item, is very important for the country's economy. As one of the countries ranked first in CPO production, Indonesia in practice exports CPO to various countries and continents around the world. One of the continents that is the destination of Indonesia's CPO exports is the African continent. Qualitative research method using secondary data collected from various media sources, including printed media news publications such as magazines and newspapers, online media platforms, previous research in the form of dissertations, journals, and relevant book references. Indonesia shifted CPO exports to Africa due to several factors, First, Interests, explaining the EU and African demand. Second, the shadow of the future, explains the potential possessed by Africa that can have an impact on Indonesia's CPO exports in the future. Third, actors, explains how the actors involved have an important role in the transition of Indonesian CPO exports to Africa. Africa is the world's second largest contributor to the global population, with 1.4 billion people living in it. This is one sign that the continent is a viable CPO export location for the palm oil industry.
