Excessive and uncontrolled intensity of use of TikTok social media among students can have negative impacts such as causing academic procrastination behavior, among others; being late in submitting assignments, not doing assignments, copying friends' work and delaying time for studying. So that the learning process activities become disrupted and can potentially affect students' learning or academic achievement at school. The aim of this research is to find out whether there are differences in the intensity of use of social media Tiktok, procrastination and academic achievement between students majoring in MIPA and majoring in IPS class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi, PALI Regency. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with a comparative nature. Data collection techniques are carried out through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The population of this study were all class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi, with a sample of 156 students consisting of 94 majoring in MIPA and 62 majoring in IPS. The statistical data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential. Hypothesis testing of intensity of use of social media Tiktok and academic procrastination was carried out using the Independent Sample T-Test while academic achievement used the Mann Whitney U Test in the SPSS 26 program with a significance level of p (0.05). The results of this research show that: (1) There is no significant difference in the intensity of use of social media Tiktok between students majoring in MIPA and majoring in IPS, because the Sig. (2-tailed) obtained was 0.761 > 0.05 (2) There was no significant difference in academic procrastination between students majoring in MIPA and those majoring in IPS, because the Sig. (2-tailed) obtained was 0.428 > 0.05 (3) There is a significant difference in academic achievement between students majoring in MIPA and majoring in IPS, because the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) obtained is 0.000 < 0.05.
