PATEN (PUZZLE TRANSFORMASI ENERGI) : PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERORIENTASI EDUTAINMENT PADA SISWA KELAS 4 SEKOLAH DASAR
This study aims to develop an edutainment-based learning media called PATEN (Puzzle Transformasi Energi) for 4th-grade elementary school students. This media is designed to address the issue of low student motivation caused by monotonous learning methods and the lack of interactive media. The study employs the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), involving expert validation, student trials, and media effectiveness evaluation.The results indicate that PATEN is highly valid, with media expert validation scoring 95%, material expert validation scoring 100%, and practitioner validation averaging 96%. The media is also considered highly practical, based on student response questionnaires with a practicality percentage of 93%. Furthermore, the media's effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes is demonstrated by an average N-Gain score of 0.69, categorized as moderate to high. Thus, PATEN has proven effective in enhancing student motivation and learning outcomes through an enjoyable and interactive approach, offering significant potential as an innovative learning tool in elementary education.
