This study aims to: (1) describe the needs for developing a Project-Based Learning model incorporating local wisdom and ecoliteracy in poetry writing instruction; (2) describe the design of the Project-Based Learning model incorporating local wisdom and ecoliteracy in poetry writing instruction; (3) describe the feasibility of the Project-Based Learning model incorporating local wisdom and ecoliteracy in poetry writing instruction. This research adopts a research and development (R&D) method using a modified development model tailored to the research needs, combining Borg and Gall's model with Dick and Carey's model. The data in this study consist of qualitative data collected through interviews and quantitative data gathered through questionnaires. The learning model was developed based on the needs analysis of Grade X students and Indonesian language teachers at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. The model design includes learning structure (syntax), reaction principles, social systems, support systems, as well as instructional and accompanying impacts. Validation tests were conducted by experts comprising material, language, and media specialists. The validation results showed percentages of 98.68% for material, 95.45% for language, and 100% for media. Based on the validation results, the Project-Based Learning model incorporating local wisdom and ecoliteracy in poetry writing instruction for Grade X at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang is deemed highly feasible for use by students and teachers.
