ANALISIS METODE GAME BASED LEARNING PADA PEMAHAMAN TEKS FIKSI DAN NON FIKSI SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR
This study aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of the game-based learning method on the understanding of fifth grade elementary school students on fictional and non-fiction text materials. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The subjects of the study were fifth grade students at SD Negeri 107 Palembang. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results show that the game-based learning method can increase student involvement, motivation, and understanding in implementing fictional and non-fiction text learning. The implementation of fictional text learning, 87% of students found it easier to remember the details of fictional stories. Only 82% of students were confident in explaining non-fiction texts in learning non-fiction. This study concludes that the game-based learning method is effective in improving students' understanding of fictional and non-fiction texts.
