This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and career decision making in class XI Srijaya Negara High School students. This research is a study that uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method. The data collection technique in this study uses data collection in the form of a Likert scale obtained through the distribution of scales through google form. The population in this study was 242 students with sampling using the “proportional random sampling” technique with 151 students as the research sample. The data analysis technique in this study is to use the Spearman's rho formula. From the results of data analysis, it shows that the relationship between emotional intelligence and career decision making obtained a correlation coefficient (rxy) with a value of 0.519 as rcount and the number of 151 respondents with a significant level of 5%, the rtable value of 0.159 is obtained so that the hypothesis test rcount> rtable then H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. Thus the degree of correlation is in the medium / high enough range in accordance with the coefficient interval of 0.40-0.59, so that emotional intelligence with career decision making shows the variable in the same direction, namely if emotional intelligence increases, it will be followed by mature career decision making.
