STATUS HARA N, P, DAN K TANAH PADA AREAL TANAMAN KARET, KELAPA SAWIT, DAN EUKALYPTUS DI DESA SUBAN JERIJI, KECAMATAN RAMBANG NIRU, KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM, SUMATERA SELATAN
Rubber, oil palm, and eucalyptus are vital commodities in Indonesia, playing a strategic role in the national economy. Soil fertility, particularly the availability of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), significantly impacts the productivity of these crops. However, in Suban Jeriji Village, Rambang Niru District, Muara Enim Regency, information regarding soil fertility status is still limited. This study aims to evaluate the status of N, P, and K nutrients in the soil and provide site-specific fertilization recommendations to optimize plant growth. The research employed a survey and laboratory analysis of soil samples taken from six points at a depth of 0–30 cm. The analysis measured total N, available P, available K, and soil pH. The results showed that the nitrogen content was moderate, phosphorus was very low, potassium was very high, and the soil pH ranged from acidic to highly acidic. Based on these findings, fertilization recommendations using Urea, SP-36, and KCl were formulated for each crop according to the specific needs of the site. This study concludes that a soil analysis-based fertilization approach can enhance crop productivity and support sustainable soil management in the study area. Indralaya, Januari 2025 Tanaman karet, kelapa sawit, dan eucalyptus merupakan komoditas penting di Indonesia yang memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian nasional. Kesuburan tanah, khususnya kandungan nitrogen (N), fosfor (P), dan kalium (K), sangat memengaruhi produktivitas tanaman tersebut. Namun, di Desa Suban Jeriji, Kecamatan Rambang Niru, Kabupaten Muara Enim, informasi mengenai status kesuburan tanah masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi status hara N, P, dan K tanah serta memberikan rekomendasi pemupukan spesifik lokasi guna mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman secara optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei lapangan dan analisis laboratorium terhadap sampel tanah dari 6 titik lokasi dengan kedalaman 0–30 cm. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengukur N-total, P-tersedia, K-tersedia, dan pH tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan N tanah berada pada kategori sedang, P sangat rendah, K sangat tinggi, dan pH tanah masam hingga sangat masam. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, rekomendasi pemupukan dengan pupuk Urea, SP-36, dan KCl disusun untuk masing-masing jenis tanaman sesuai kebutuhan spesifik lokasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pemupukan berbasis analisis tanah dapat meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman dan menjaga keberlanjutan pengelolaan tanah di wilayah penelitian.
