Background: Mental disorders are behaviors experienced by a person related to stress that can interfere with thoughts, feelings, and symptoms that have an impact on their life. In 2022, Ernaldi Bahar Hospital recorded as many as 2,062 patients experiencing nursing problems at risk of violent behavior. The risk of violent behavior is an action where the sufferer is at risk of hurting themselves or others. One form of intervention for patients who are at risk of experiencing violent behavior is by providing psycho-religious dhikr therapy. Purpose: The purpose of writing this scientific work is to apply mental nursing care to patients at risk of violent behavior using psycho-religious dhikr therapy at Ernaldi Bahar Hospital, Palembang. Method: Implementation of nursing care using a case study and journal approach by providing nursing care to three patients with the same risk diagnosis for violent behavior. Results: The three patients treated had major nursing problems with a risk of violent behavior and were then given generalist implementation strategies and continued with psycho-religious dhikr therapy intervention for 3 days. The evaluation results showed that there were no signs and symptoms of risk of violent behavior in the form of clenching hands, clenching the jaw, speaking loudly and with sharp eyes. Discussion: Providing psycho-religious therapy with dhikr stimulates the brain's work, and when the brain receives external stimulation, the brain will produce neuropeptides, namely endorphins, which function to provide a comfortable and calming effect, so that psycho-religious dhikr therapy can be considered as therapy for patients who are at risk of committing violent behavior. Conclusion: Psycho-religious dhikr therapy can have a good effect on patients who are at risk of committing violent behavior.
