This research is development research that uses the ADDIE development model,including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages.However, this research only applies three stages of development, namely analysis, design and development (ADD). This research aims to produce teaching material products in the form of electronic modules (E-Modules) using the book creator application. The stages of this research are (1) describing the analysis of teacher needs as well as interviews with teachers and students of class as well as storyboards and (3) describing the results of validation of the e-module learning media material for writing short story texts using the book creator application. Research data includes qualitative and quantitative data obtained through interviews, needs questionnaires, and validation test sheets by experts. The results of this learning media development were validated based on three main aspects. The validation results for the media aspect obtained a percentage of 97.5%, validation of the material aspect obtained a percentage of 92.85%, and validation of the language aspect obtained a percentage of 84.09%. Based on these results, this learning media was declared suitable for use in learning to write short story texts. It is hoped that this development can create a learning process that is more interactive, interesting, and can help create fun learning.
