ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL HOTS MATERI SEL VOLTA
The curriculum used in Indonesia today is an Independent Curriculum. The independent curriculum was born with the hope of improving the quality of students so that they can master the 21st century skills. Critical thinking skills are one of the part 21st century skills. Critical thinking skills can be identified in various ways, one of which is by using a cognitive test with a question instrument in the HOTS (Higher Order Thingking Skills) category questions. Therefore, a research was conducted to analyze students' critical thinking skills in solving HOTS questions on voltaic cell material. The research method used was a mixed QUAL-quant research. This research data collection technique was conducting interviews and cognitive tests. The results of the research provided data that critical thinking skills analyzed by using the Anderson and Krathwohl indicators obtained a percentage of analytical ability/C4 of 68,715% with the moderate category, and evaluation ability/C5 of 59,167% with the low category. The overall percentage is 66,806,5% with the moderate category.
