Wetlands are areas that are waterlogged or have very moist soil conditions for most of the year. Wetlands encompass various ecosystems, including swamps, peatlands, marshes, and mangroves. The water in wetlands can be freshwater, brackish, or saline. This study was conducted to analyze the levels of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients in the wetlands of PT. Hindoli. Soil fertility analysis was carried out in the Soil Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The aim of this study was to analyze and evaluate the nutrient levels in the soil. The research activities were conducted from May 2024 to June 2024. This research employed a semi-detailed survey method. Soil samples were collected using the stratified sampling method. The soil samples were taken at a depth of 0–30 cm using a Belgi auger. Soil sample analysis included field observations, such as soil color, groundwater table depth, and pyrite content. Laboratory soil analysis included soil texture using the hydrometer method, pH using a pH meter, total nitrogen (N-total) using the Kjeldahl method, available phosphorus (P-available) using the Bray-1 method measured with a spectrophotometer, and exchangeable aluminum (Al-dd) using spectrometry. The results of this study showed that the wetlands in PT. Hindoli have soil pH levels classified as extremely acidic. The total nitrogen content ranged from medium to very high, while the available phosphorus levels ranged from very low to medium. Exchangeable aluminum (Al-dd) levels were classified as medium to high. The soil texture was categorized as clay, sandy clay, and sandy clay loam. The soil colors were black, dark brown, yellowish brown, and very dark gray. The groundwater table depth ranged from 28 to 89 cm below the surface, with significant pyrite content.
