Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are distributed systems consisting of numerous small and intelligent sensors designed to monitor, collect, and transmit data from the surrounding environment to a control center. In practice, WSN faces significant challenges related to limited energy resources, particularly in sensor nodes powered by batteries. Inefficient energy management can lead to node failures, degraded network performance, and a shortened network lifespan. This research aims to optimize energy consumption in WSN by applying the enhanced Fuzzy Tsukamoto method to routing protocols. The Fuzzy Tsukamoto method is utilized to determine optimal communication paths based on parameters such as remaining energy levels, inter-node distance, and signal quality. This fuzzy-based approach enables more adaptive decision-making in response to dynamic network conditions, resulting in more balanced energy distribution and extended network lifespan. The findings of this research open opportunities for further development by integrating the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method with other optimization algorithms to improve energy efficiency in more complex sensor networks.
