This study aims to determine the influence of loose parts media on the problem-solving abilities of 5-6 year-old children at Kartika II-1 Kindergarten Palembang. The research method used in this study is a quantitative experimental method with a One Shot Case Study design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. This study was conducted on grade B1 children at Kartika II-1 Kindergarten Palembang with a sample size of 13 children. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and checklist sheets. The data obtained were analyzed using a t-test with descriptive analysis. The results of the data analysis showed that learning using loose parts media had an influence on the problem-solving abilities of 5-6 year-old children at Kartika II-1 Kindergarten Palembang. The researcher recommends that teachers and parents can use loose parts media as a learning medium to stimulate children's problem-solving abilities.
