ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL DAN KEGIATAN BUDIDAYA USAHA PETERNAKAN AYAM RAS PETELUR DI SUKAJADI FARM KELURAHAN SUKAJADI TIMUR KECAMATAN TALANG KELAPA KABUPATEN BANYUASIN
The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the cultivation activities of layer chicken farming at Sukajadi Farm Sukajadi Timur Urban Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, (2) to calculate the income obtained from the layer chicken farming business at Sukajadi Farm Sukajadi Timur Urban Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, and (3) to analyze the financial feasibility level of the layer chicken farming business at Sukajadi Farm Sukajadi Timur Urban Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted at Sukajadi Farm. The location was determined through Purposive Sampling, considering that the location is a laying hen farm business with a relatively large scale in South Sumatra. The research method used in this study was a case study. The data used in this research consisted of primary and secondary data. The results of this study showed that (1) the cultivation activities of Sukajadi Farm's laying hen business were in accordance with existing theories, starting from the selection of chicks used, which were 3 DOC, the use of protein-containing feed types consisting of 60% corn, 20% concentrate, and 20% rice bran, the use of necessary medications for laying hens using the proven quality Medion brand, land sanitation, and utilization of chicken manure waste, (2) the income obtained by the owner of Sukajadi Farm layer chicken farming business is Rp 1,665.528.291, which represents the average annual income of Sukajadi Farm's layer chicken farming business, (3) based on the results of financial feasibility analysis, Sukajadi Farm's layer chicken farming business is feasible to operate. The results of the financial feasibility analysis showed an NPV value of Rp 11.967.360.906, IRR of 38,03%, Gross B/C of 1.1, Net B/C of 2.92, Payback Period of 2 years and 6 months, and in the sensitivity analysis with assumptions of 9% decrease in production, 11% increase in production costs, and 13% decrease in selling price of each product, Sukajadi Farm's layer chicken farming business is still considered feasible to operate and represents the tolerance limit.
