Introduction: Psychiatric disorders are one of the health problems that experience an increase in prevalence every year. Predisposing and precipitation factors that are not faced with adaptive coping will suppress mental status which leads to problems with psychiatric disorders schizophrenia in the form of auditory hallucinations that cause sufferers to experience disorientation of reality and loss of self-control so that they risk the patient's self-security,others and the surrounding environment. One non-pharmacological therapy that can be applied to control hallucinations is thought stopping therapy which aims to change destructive thoughts to be more adaptive. Aim: The writing of this report aims to provide an overview of nursing care in auditory hallucination patients through the application of thought stopping techniques. Method: The writing of this scientific paper uses a case study approach method with a qualitative descriptive method. Result: After the implementation of the implementation strategy (SP) and continued with thought stopping therapy, there was a decrease in PSYRAT scores for hallucinatory symptom signs: Mr.S score from 27(severe) to 19 (medium), Mr.A score from 37(very severe) to 19 (moderate) and Mr.K score from 30 (severe) to 13 (moderate). Changes in symptoms in the form of decreased frequency of hallucinations, patients seem cooperative, have eye contact, gather more often with friends, actively follow room activities and have been able to control hallucinations. Discussion: Decreased signs of auditory hallucination symptoms can occur through the administration of thought stopping therapy to reduce damaging and disturbing negative thoughts by saying "STOP" and replacing them with more positive thoughts. Thought stopping can be applied independently (stop swap commiting) by the client through a shock stimulus or stimulation
