Marketing efficiency in an agricultural system is considered to be achieved when products can be moved from the farmer to the consumer at the lowest possible cost and when all parties involved in production and marketing activities receive a fair share of the price paid by the final consumer. This study aims to 1) To describe the marketing channel of oil palm fresh fruit bunches in Rukun Makmur Village, Pulau Rimau District. 2) To calculate the size of farmer's share of fresh fruit bunches of independent farmers in Rukun Makmur Village, Pulau Rimau Subdistrict 3) To analyze the level of efficiency of fresh fruit bunches marketing in Rukun Makmur Village, Pulau Rimau Sub-district. This research was conducted in Rukun Makmur village, Pulau Rimau regency, Banyuasin Regency. Data collection was conducted from September to November 2024. The research method used is survey method. The sampling method used in this research is Purposive sampling method and Snowball sampling method. There were 39 respondents in this study. The data were analyzed using tabulation and then mathematically calculated using Microsoft Excel 2010 software and explained descriptively. The results showed that 1) There are three patterns of marketing channels in Rukun Makmur village, Pulau Rimau district, namely, marketing channel pattern I includes farmers-collector-wholesalers-palm oil mill, marketing channel II includes farmers-wholesalers-palm oil mill, and marketing channel pattern III includes farmers-collectors-palm oil mill. 2) Marketing channel I has a farmer's share value of 82.03%, then in marketing channel pattern II is 83.98% and farmer's share in channel III is 83.20%. The highest farmer's share is in marketing channel II followed by marketing channel III. 3) Marketing channel I has an efficiency value of 14.18%, marketing channel II has an efficiency value of 12.81%, and marketing channel III has an efficiency value of 13.79%. Marketing channel II is more efficient than marketing channel I and marketing channel III due to the lower marketing cost of marketing channel I and the fewer marketing institutions involved.
