Background: Laparatomy is a surgical procedure that involves making an incision in the abdominal wall. The incision on the abdominal wall requires a long recovery time and constant care. The length of wound healing affects the increase in complications, namely the risk of nosocomial infections, impaired tissue perfusion related to thromboplebitis, poor skin integrity related to wound infection, and the occurrence of wound denervation accompanied by evisceration and discomfort, in connection with these complications, so nursing care is needed for wound healing. One therapy that can help accelerate the wound healing process is early mobilization therapy. Objective: Describe the results of pediatric nursing practice that focuses on nursing care in children with postoperative laparatomy in accordance with the review of evidence-based learning. Methods: The method used was a descriptive case study approach and journal review in patients with postoperative laparatomy. Results: The results of the assessment found that the three managed patients had laparatomy surgery and had incision wounds of different sizes. There are five nursing problems that arise for the three patients. The therapy provided in nursing care to help the wound healing process is early mobilization therapy. Early mobilization therapy in the wound healing process has an effect on accelerating the healing process for the better. Discussion: Early mobilization therapy, with its movements, can help improve blood circulation so that the wound area gets enough oxygen as well as more nutrients. This aims for cell growth or repair so that the wound healing process becomes faster. Early mobilization therapy intervention is given for 3 consecutive days; each stage is carried out twice a day at the beginning of service and the end of service, with a duration of 15 minutes. Conclusion: The action of early mobilization therapy as a therapy in helping the wound healing process after laparatomy surgery has an effect on accelerating the wound healing process for the better. Early mobilization therapy intervention can be an alternative to helping the wound heal after laparatomy surgery.
