Knee OA is the leading cause of disability global disability. The resultant effects of OA are pain and joint dysfunction. Understanding the progression of knee OA is expected to lead to more effective diagnosis and management strategies for more effective diagnosis and management. This type of research is a descriptive observational study of primary data with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was knee OA patients who had inclusion and exclusion criteria and were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that knee OA patients are dominated by women (80%), the majority in the age group 60-60 years (40%) with a housewife job (60%), and no history of trauma (65.7%). Patients with knee OA are dominated by patients who have a BMI with Obese 1 level (40.0%). Most patients have a Kellgren-Lawrence degree at degree III (34.3%). The results of the VAS score show that most patients have a moderate degree (68.6%), and the results of the WOMAC score are dominated by patients with a severe degree (51.4%). Patients with knee OA in the Rheumatology Polyclinic of Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang are dominated by the age group 60-60 years with female gender, working as housewives, no history of trauma, Kellgren-Lawrence level at grade III, moderate VAS scores, and severe WOMAC scores.
