ANALISIS PENERAPAN STRATEGI DALAM LAYANAN KEPENDUDUKAN BAGI DISABILITAS DI DINAS KEPENDUDUKAN DAN PENCATATAN SIPIL KOTA PALEMBANG
Accessibility of public services allows people with disabilities to carry out activities without obstacles to obtain their rights. Several strategies that have been implemented by the Palembang City Population and Civil Registration Service in population services for people with disabilities are: pick-up and drop-off strategies or programs, the use of digital KTPs via Android cell phones and mutual cooperation strategies. This strategy has been directed from the center and the Palembang City Population and Civil Registration Service only applies regulations issued by the Center. This research aims to determine service strategies for people with disabilities at the Palembang City Population and Civil Registration Service. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. This research information was collected through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The validity of the data is carried out through triangulation of data, technique and time and then analyzed through data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions.The results of the research show that services for people with disabilities at the Palembang City Population and Civil Registration Service have been implemented, but are still not optimal. The suggestion that can be taken is to provide complete information regarding service procedures that are easy, fast and transparent. However, the population and civil registration services must further develop facilities and infrastructure that support access to the needs of people with disabilities, especially deaf and speech impaired people.
