PROFESIONALISME DALAM PELAYANAN PASPOR DI KANTOR IMIGRASI KELAS I TPI PALEMBANG
This research was aimed for the problem of decreasing demand for passports issued by the Immigration Office Class I TPI Palembang. This research is expected to provide recommendations for the Immigration Office to improve the quality of services, especially passport services, overcome declining issuance problems, and improve the professionalism of officers at the Palembang Immigration Office. The research method used was qualitative with a purposive sampling informant technique, involving 6 informants who had experience in passport services at the office. The data used consists of primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews and observations, in accordance with Creswell's theory. Data analysis was carried out using data analysis techniques developed by Creswell. Based on the results of data analysis carried out by researchers, there are still deficiencies in the competency aspect due to the error management factor in the M-Passport application, immigration officials have not been implemented optimally, which requires reporting to the head office and shows that there is room for improvement in the management system.
