Dramaturgy is a theory which states that human life is like a theater play. Skits performed by actors receive more attention, so tge question arises as to whether an actor's daily life is the same as when the actor is on stage. In line with this research entitled "Study of Radio Broadcaster Dramaturgy in Disseminating Information (Study of Republic of Indonesia Radio Broadcasters in Palembang City). Examining the process of broadcasting news to listeners carried out by broadcasters is a dramaturgical process. This research aims to find out whether in the process of spreading news a new identity is formed, which is a marker of successful dramaturgy. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, using primary data sources obtained from the ongoing research process. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Based on observations and interviews conducted, the research results show that there are new identities or different characters that emerge when on the front stage, back stage and off stage.
