This research aims to find out how the principles of accountability and transparency of Good Corporate Governance are implemented in the Corporate Social Responsibility Work Unit of PT Bukit Asam Tbk using Stewardship Theory (1991) consisting of four dimensions of Accountability, namely, Honesty and Legal Accountability, Process Accountability, Program Accountability. , and Policy Accountability there are two dimensions to Transparency, namely, Informative Transparency and Disclosure Transparency. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research show that the Corporate Social Responsibility Work Unit is very good at implementing the Principles of Accountability and Transparency of Good Corporate Governance. Good accountability is proven by a strong commitment to accountability in various aspects, such as honesty, processes, programs, and policies. Then, regarding transparency, the company has attempted to be transparent in providing information to stakeholders, both through official reports and other communication channels, but several things still need to be done, namely, on the principle of accountability, namely by increasing strengthening, monitoring and evaluation in order to ensure that allocated funds and resources are used efficiently and on target. Meanwhile, based on the principle of transparency, PT Bukit Asam Tbk can provide education regarding the importance of community participation in sustainable development.
