PENGARUH ORIENTASI IDEOLOGI TERHADAP MORAL PAJAK WARGA NEGARA REPUBLIK INDONESIA
This research aims to look at the influence of ideological orientation on the tax morality of citizens of the Republic of Indonesia. The problem of research is based on the lack of morality of Indonesian tax citizens. The ideological orientation of this study is seen from the ideology of patriarchy. The method used is the quantitative method of inferential in particular logistic regression. The secondary data used came from the 7th World Value Survey (WVS) conducted in 2017-2020. The sample in this study consisted of 3,200 (three thousand two hundred) respondents who were Indonesian citizens aged 18 and over. Secondary data is processed using STATA 17 software. Research results show that ideological orientation has a negative but significant influence on tax morality. Tax morality affects patriarchal ideology, the more pro-patriarchal one is the lower his tax morality. Socio-demographic variables such as educational and religious levels have a positive and significant influence on tax morals. Based on these findings, the researchers suggested that the government prioritize education on justice and gender equality. Facilitating access to formal and non-formal education and paying greater attention to religious education. It is hoped that with the increased gender equality, the facility of education and religion, then the tax morals of citizens of the Republic of Indonesia can rise.
