MANAJEMEN ISU HUMAS PT PUSRI PALEMBANG DALAM MENANGGAPI BERITA NEGATIF TENTANG PUPUK BERSUBSDI
This research was motivated by PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja which was hit by negative issues regarding subsidized fertilizer. A good public opinion is very necessary to maintain a reputation. The aim of this research is to identify the steps taken by PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang's public relations in resolving negative issues regarding subsidized fertilizer. The choice of theory in the research used Chase and Jones' issue management theory, where the success of the research was influenced by five variables, namely issue identification, issue analysis, formulating programs, program implementation and evaluation. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, this research process uses data including in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that PT Pusri Palembang's public relations uses an open Adaptive change strategy and accommodation for change. Adaptive means a process where a person must adapt to their environment and the issue management used by PT Pusri Palembang public relations focuses on problem identification, analysis, strategy creation, implementation and evaluation. The research results show that this is in accordance with the issue management stages of Chase and Jones. Therefore, it can be concluded that PT Pusri Palembang's public relations has implemented a good strategy in managing issues, but there are still several steps or strategies that need to be improved in its implementation.
