Protocol is a series of rules for official events, which include venue arrangements, ceremonial arrangements and honors, relating to respect for someone, according to their position and position in the state, government or society. This definition means that protocols have a strategic role in organizing (managing) an activity so that it can run well, orderly and smoothly. Protocols as glue to regulate the relationship between leaders/organizations with other leaders/organizations or with the community, must be able to describe and bridge the desires of the various parties to achieve a common goal in order to hold the event well, smoothly and solemnly. The aim of conducting this research is to find out What is the Strategy for Organizing Protocol Relations Technical Guidance Events in Making Protocols Professional and Resilient in 2022 at the Arya Duta Palembang Hotel. The theory that the author uses in this research is to find out how the South Sumatra Provincial Secretariat Protocol Team manages the strategy created to organize Protocol Technical Guidance events. throughout South Sumatra, namely Riva'i's theory in Yunus (2016: 14). Because in this theory, there are three steps that are very decisive for Strategic Management in organizing a large event. According to Riva'i in Yunus (2016: 14) the strategy management process can generally be achieved through three steps consisting of: Formulating Strategy, Determining Strategy (Implementing Strategy), Evaluation of Strategy (Evaluating Strategy). Based on the results of the analysis above, it can be concluded that the 2022 South Sumatra Protocol Technical Guidance Event held by the Protocol Team of the Regional Secretariat Office of South Sumatra Province has run regularly and very well, it could be said to have achieved the targets expected by all parties involved in the event.
