This research is Budget Accountabitlity in the Road and Bridge Rehabilitation/Maintenance program at the Public Work Agency of Bina Marga and Spatial Planning in South Sumatera Province in 2018. This research is based on the unrealization of budget absorption in the read and bridge rehabilitation/maintenance program with the aim of determaining the causes of the non-realization of the budget in the in the road and bridge rehabilitation/maintenance program at the Public Work Agency of Bina Marga and Spatial Planning in South Sumatera Province in 2018. To find out the problem, this study uses a theory of financial accountability which has 4 principles is accarucy, transparency, punctuality and relevance. Qualitative methode were used in this study, based on the results of interviews and documentation. The results of this study look that in budget management in the road and bridge rehabilitation/maintenance program at the Public Work Agency of Bina Marga and Spatial Planning in South Sumatera Province has not been able to realized property due to budget efficiency in the central government which causes budget adsorption not to be absorbed properly. This research reccomends for Public Work Agency of Bina Marga and Spatial Planning in South Sumatera Province to apply good work planning, manage time and transparency in budget management.
