DM sufferers must undergo many lifestyle changes such as adjusting diet, physical activity and having to control blood sugar regularly. Sudden life changes make DM sufferers experience psychological disorders such as stress. The stress experienced by DM sufferers will have an impact on the treatment process. One effort to deal with stress in DM sufferers is by providing a combination of autogenic relaxation therapy and music therapy (ASIK). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of autogenic relaxation therapy and music therapy (ASIK) on stress levels in type 2 DM patients. This study was a quantitative study with a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test. The sample in this study were 21 respondents obtained by means of non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The test used is the Wilcoxon test.
