STRATEGI OMBUDSMAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA PERWAKILAN SUMATERA SELATAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENGAWASAN PELAYANAN PUBLIK PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19
This research is entitled "Strategy of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of South Sumatra in Improving Public Services During the Covid-19 Pandemic". This research was motivated by the COVID-19 pandemic event which caused a change in the number of reports submitted to the Ombudsman before and after the pandemic which made it a challenge for the Ombudsman to continue to carry out their duties and functions. This study aims to determine the strategies adopted by the ombudsman in improving the supervision of public services during the pandemic. The theory used is the theory of strategic management proposed by Wheleen and Hunger. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, using primary data sources and secondary data, data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results of this study show the strategies taken by the ombudsman, namely changing the service system to online, utilizing social media, Ombudsman quick reactions and coaching clinics. The suggestion of this research is to add human resources to the assistant part of the Ombudsman and the division of responsibilities towards a clearly defined strategy
