KAJIAN ETNOBOTANI TUMBUHAN OBAT SUKU RAWAS DI DESA JAJARAN BARU I KECAMATAN MEGANG SAKTI KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS
Ethnobotany is a relationship or interaction between certain plants and community groups (Ethnics) that are utilized in a manner from generation to generation as traditional medicine in the Jajaran Baru I Village, Megang Sakti District, Musi Rawas Regency, so it is necessary to do research on medicinal plants used for generations. This study aims to determine the types of medicinal plants, organs, habitus, sources of acquisition, processing methods, and how to use medicinal plants. The study was conducted with descriptive surveys and field observations. There are 94 species of medicinal plants which are included in 51 families with 4 habitus to treat diseases such as high blood pressure, fever, cholesterol and Zingiberaceae is the most widely used family by the community. The most widely used plant organs are leaves, the most widely used habitus is herbs and a source of acquisition from cultivation. The most common method of processing medicinal plants is boiled and the way to use them is mostly taken by drinking.Keywords: Ethnobotany, Medicinal plants, Jajaran Baru I Village
