KARAKTERISASI DISPERSI PADAT IBUPROFEN DENGAN KITOSAN DAN VARIASI NATRIUM ALGINAT MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK CO-GRINDING
Ibuprofen Is Classified As A Bcs Class Ii Biopharmaceutical. This Means That Researchers Use Solid Dispersion To Improve Its Solubility And Dissolution Rate, As It Has Poor Oral Solubility And Bioavailability. This Study Used A Combination Of Chitosan And Sodium Alginate To Form Solid Dispersion With Co-Grinding Technique, Which Is Easy To Do And Environmentally Friendly. In The Preparation Of Solid Ibuprofen Dispersion, The Ibuprofen Formula Was Mixed And Ground In A Machine Using A Grinding Ball, Which Was Then Compared To The Total Weight Of The Formula. The Solid Dispersion Samples Were Evaluated And Characterized Using Xrd, Ftir, Sem, Solubility, And Dissolution Rate Tests. The Results Showed A Decrease In The Intensity Of Ibuprofen Crystals, No Formation Of New Functional Groups, Changes In The Morphology Of The Solid Dispersion, Increased Solubility In Sif Solution. This Research Shows That Making A Solid Ibuprofen Dispersion Using The Co-Grinding Method Can Improve Ibuprofen's Solubility And Dissolution Rate.
