EFEK PEMBERIAN SELF-NANO EMULSION (UNCARIA GAMBIR ROXB.) TERHADAP PROFIL NEUROPROTEKTIF, STRES OKSIDATIF DAN MIKROANATOMI OTAK PADA MODEL TIKUS DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 SEBAGAI UPAYA PREVENTIF ALZHEIMER
Diabetes mellitus (DM) can cause cognitive disorders and even Alzheimer's disorders. Catechins in gambier have pharmacological effects as antioxidants and can be used as therapy to improve cognitive function and prevent Alzheimer's disease. The research aims to determine the characteristics of gambier extract and SNE as active anti-diabetic ingredients to prevent Alzheimer's disease and to determine the effect of SNE gambier extract on anti-diabetes in preventing Alzheimer's disease. The research subjects used six groups of white Wistar rats. Normal group, negative control group with STZ-NA induction 45mg/kgBW. Group positive for glibenclamide 5mg/kgBW, group 1 SNE basic dose 40mg/kgBW, group 2 SNE gambier extract 60mg/kgBW, group 3 gambier extract 60mg/kgBW.
