This research aims to determine the percentage of imitating behavior in the field of language development for children aged (3-4) years in Mehanggin Village, South Oku Regency. The research uses quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were 12 children aged (3-4) years who lived in Mehanggin Village, South Oku Regency and the sample in this study was 12 children consisting of 10 boys and 2 girls. The sample was determined using the total sample technique. Data collection used in this research was through observation techniques (checklists) and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical techniques. The results of research on imitating behavior in the field of language development for children aged (3-4) years in Mehanggin Village, South Oku Regency as a whole were 91.5% which was included in the very well developed (BSB) category. With detailed indicators in the form of children being able to pay attention to vocabulary which is known to be large, the percentage is 94%, indicators in the form of children being able to remember large vocabulary are 94%, indicators in the form of children being able to imitate vocabulary which is known is 90%, indicators in the form of children being able to repeat vocabulary with an average percentage of 88%.
