SPEKTRUM MIKROBIOLOGI DAN POLA KEPEKAAN ANTIBIOTIK TERHADAP PATOGEN PENYEBAB BAKTEREMIA PADA PASIEN ANAK KEGANASAN DISERTAI DEMAM NEUTROPENIA DI RSMH
Background: Fever neutropenia is one of the serious complications of chemotherapy in malignant patients. One of the main causes of febrile neutropenia is a bacterial infection. Early administration of appropriate antibiotics greatly affects the prognosis of patients. The selection of first-line antibiotic therapy for the management of febrile neutropenia varies depending on the local antibiotic in each institution. The purpose of this study is to determine the antibiotic susceptibility patterns to pathogens that cause bacteremia in malignant pediatric patients accompanied by neutropenia fever at RSMH Palembang in the period 2020 – 2022. Methods: This study is an observational descriptive study using secondary data from the Medical Record Installation and RSMH Central Laboratory Installation for the period 2020 – 2022. Results: The prevalence of neutropenia fever for the period 2020 – 2022 was found at 19.1% with 366 episodes of neutropenia fever dominated by men (56.3%) and age group 2 -
