PENGARUH MOTIVASI TERHADAP MINAT MENJADI GURU PADA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI DI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA PALEMBANG
Interest is a feeling of liking and interest in something, without anyone telling you to. Motivation is one of the factors that influences the learning process and outcomes which lies in the psychological aspect of students. This research aims to determine the influence of motivation on interest in becoming a teacher among economic education students at Sriwijaya University, Palembang. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. This research method uses simple regression analysis techniques with a sample of 77 UNSRI students in Palembang and Indralaya. There is an influence between motivation and interest in becoming a teacher among Economic Education Students at Sriwijaya University as evidenced by the calculated t value of 4.978 > t table 1.66543. Economic education students who have moderate motivation should increase their confidence and readiness to become teachers, especially if their educational background is economic education. Considering the importance of the competencies that teachers must have, students need to be serious about studying the education courses in lectures.
