This research aims to describe violations of the principle of cooperation in the interviews of Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto, and Anies Baswedan on Najwa Shihab's YouTube channel and their implications for Indonesian language learning. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data for this research are statements between the interviewer and three sources in which there are violations of the principle of cooperation. The data source is the speech in three video interviews on Najwa Shihab's YouTube channel. Data collection uses uninvolved conversation observation and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques consist of identification, classification, description, study, implementation and conclusion. The amount of data is 113 data: 33 data on violations of the maxim of quantity, 16 data on violations of the maxim of quality, 24 data on violations of the maxim of relevance, and 40 data on violations of the maxim of manner. Ganjar Pranowo has 36 data violations, Prabowo Subianto has 54 data violations, and Anies Baswedan has 23 data violations. The research results can be implemented in class XII high school Indonesian language learning using the Merdeka Curriculum. Implementing the theory of violation of the principle of cooperation in learning activities can be carried out in phase F learning outcomes listening skills, namely students are able to evaluate various ideas and views based on the rules of logical thinking from listening to various types of texts (non-fiction and fiction) in the form of monologues, dialogues and talk shows. Discussion material can be an option for implementing research results. Students are expected to have the ability to understand speech in dialogue videos or talk shows.
