The development of the E-Module for waste material has been carried out in learning in the waste processing technology course at the Sriwijaya University Chemistry Education Study Program. This development process uses the 4Dmethod (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). Data for thisdevelopment was obtained through interviews, questionnaires, walkthroughs and tests. The evaluation stage is carried out through feasibility, practicality andeffectiveness analysis. The aim of this research is to develop a Project BasedLearning based E-Module about waste gas that is valid, practical and effective. Thesubjects of this research are Chemistry Education students Class of 2021 who aretaking waste processing technology courses. The research results show that the E- Module developed received a high validity score from design experts (1), materialexperts (1), and pedagogical experts (0,95). The practicality of the E-Module in thefirst resting stage reached 91%, which indicated a very practical category. The effectiveness of the E-Module in the second testing phase reached a score of 0,80, which indicates the high category. Thus, the resulting E-Module produced is valid, practical and efficient, so it can be used in learning waste processing technology. Keywords: E-Module, project based learning, liquid waste.
