This research aims to produce the development of learning media for writing biography text using CapCut application for class X students of SMA Negeri 20 Palembang. This research uses research and development method. The model used in this research is the Aleesi & Trollip development model. The learning media for writing biography text using CapCut application for class X students of SMA Negeri 20 Palembang was developed based on the results of the needs analysis of teachers and students. Based on the needs analysis, teachers and students expressed the need for learning media to write biography text using CapCut application. The next step was to develop the initial concept of the product by making flowcharts and storyboards, and preparing media designs. Then the product was tested for validation by experts consisting of material experts, language experts and media experts. The results of material validation obtained a percentage of 88% with a very valid category, for language validation obtained a percentage of 82% with a very valid category and for media validation obtained a percentage of 92% with a very valid category. This learning media is declared feasible for trial with a note of revision according to suggestions. Furthermore, the product was tested for practicality to students with the one to one method given to three students with high, medium and low ability categories, the results of the practicality test stated that the media was very practical with the results of the percentage of students 98%, 94% and 90%.
