This research is research and development (Research and Development) using the modified and adapted Dick and Carey (2001) development model. This research aims to (1) Describe the results of an analysis of the needs of educators and students regarding digital teaching materials through drylab-based wordwall educational games in learning to read descriptive texts for class VII students at SMP Srijaya Negara Palembang. (2) Produce and describe the design and process of developing digital teaching materials through drylab-based wordwall educational games for learning to read descriptive texts for class VII students at Srijaya State Middle School, Palembang. (3) Describe the validation results of the development of digital teaching materials through drylab-based wordwall educational games in learning to read descriptive texts for class VII students at Srijaya State Middle School, Palembang. Data collection techniques in research are interviews, questionnaires, needs analysis, and product feasibility testing (validation). The development of digital teaching materials is based on the results of a needs analysis which concludes that teachers and students need digital teaching materials through drylab-based wordwall educational games for learning to read descriptive texts for class VII students at SMP Srijaya Negara Palembang. The product feasibility test (validation) assessment is carried out on three aspects, namely media validation, material validation and linguistic validation. From the three results of the product feasibility test assessment, this development and research showed that this digital teaching material product was categorized as very suitable for use provided that it was revised according to suggestions from the validators.
